Professional photography and video recording are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the event organiser. Even if your camera gear just appears professional, you may be asked to take it out of the exhibit space.

We encourage you to leave valuables, large bags, and other personal belongings at home. For the safety of our visitors and The Twilight Tales, all bags entering or leaving the space, including purses, are subject to inspection.

- Walkers, mobility scooters, and other mobility aids
- Small personal point and shoot cameras, including smartphones

- Paints and aerosols

- Food and beverages of any type (including alcohol)

Yes. The event is held at Freight Island which is wheelchair accessible. Some pathways feature uneven terrain due to outdoor conditions, but all main areas are accessible.

- Letter from a medical professional, including a doctor’s note or a letter from an occupation therapist
- Carer's allowance

- Confirmation in writing from Social Services that the individual is included on their Deaf Register, or a letter or report from an aural specialist confirming that hearing loss has been recorded at 70 - 95 dBHL or worse

Yes. Accessible toilet facilities are available on-site within Freight Island and near the main event area.

Dogs are welcome throughout Twilight Tales but must be kept on a lead

Yes, prams and strollers are welcome, though we recommend baby carriers in some narrower areas for ease of movement.

Twilight Tales is an indoor-outdoor experience, so wrap up warm and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking.

The event will go ahead in most weather conditions. Some areas are covered, but we recommend bringing a raincoat or umbrella for full enjoyment. Should the event be cancelled due to bad weather, you will be notified and you'll be able to reschedule for another date.

Yes. Limited parking is available nearby at Mayfield Car Park and other city centre locations. We also encourage visitors to use public transport, with Manchester Piccadilly just a short walk away.

Every child or family Twilight Tales ticket that's bought you can get one free kids meal per child with every Adults meal purchased. You must have a valid Kids or Family Twilight Tales ticket to be scanned at the vendor within Freight Island when ordering. All food orders must be placed with the food vendor and not via QR ordering.
